Overview
Kemin Application Solutions is on the lookout for talented candidates to join our Graduate Development Program. This initiative is designed to develop new job market members by allowing them to work on meaningful projects. This position will work in the Kemin Application Solutions team. This team is a global engineering group that provides application expertise and support of Kemin's liquid products for customers and their operations. In this position, this person will design, program, and install the application equipment for customers to use.
As a participant, you will be assigned a diverse set of responsibilities and will work closely with your manager and an executive sponsor to kickstart your career at Kemin. Responsibilities
- Develop innovative PLC, HMI, and Scada solutions to maximize the applicator efficiency.
- Responsible for keeping system schematics and drawings up to date, managing version history.
- Responsible for researching technical and economical improvements.
- Recommend and review instrument specifications for projects.
- Build various application equipment.
- Troubleshoot existing application systems.
- Foster a positive team environment and assist coworkers as required.
- Ability to assemble and install application equipment at customer sites across North America.
- Participate in attending local exhibitions, seminars, training and workshops.
- Assistance in development of new applications systems.
- Provide day to day support to customers, sales team and KAS engineers.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Ag Technology, Design Engineering, or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in equipment design, hydro-mechanics, electro-mechanical engineering;measurement and control technology;processing engineering.
- Experience with CAD and SolidWorks.
- Capability to learn and understand electrical and communication systems..
- Strong affinity for industrial automation.
- Profound knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Ability to work independently or in a structured team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Quality minded.
