Position reports to the Shipping Department Supervisor. Employee filling this position is responsible accurate record keeping and computer information entry. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:List from most important to least important |

Checking load paper work to ensure correct shipping amounts, proper filing of paper work and record keeping, Printing Bill of Lading for drivers, entering information about loads into computer saved files, answer phone calls, keep track of production tags.

This position isin direct report to shipping supervisor.

This position requires frequent good judgment on load information shortages, over shipments, receiving in pallets, entering information into computer.

Difficulty of Duties:minimal
Responsibility for Confidential Information:Must be able to follow policies e g; company code of business ethics and conduct, Internet email usage policies and password protection policies along with all accompanying polices regarding company assets and information.
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Work Experience:prior computer skills a must
Technical Skills: have experience with Microsoft office word, excel
Language Skills:: Must possess the ability to communicate and/or read and understand documents such as safety rules, work rules, HACCP regulations, policy and/or procedure manuals.
Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide as needed.
