Job Highlights
- Leads the RCH site in the US, participates in present and future orientation of the business, and shares responsibility for the financial results. Prepares the budget for the site.
- Develops and implement policies and procedures so that manufacturing operations are in compliance for operational safety, quality,and efficiency in utilization of all related resources.Manage personnel via evalautions, feedback sessions, development and training.
- Direct responsibility for multiple external tolling operations in the region plus shared responsibility for external warehousing
- Direct and manage the operating and support departments of the Bushy Park plant including: Safety & Environmental Compliance, Production, Engineering and Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Logistics.
- Represents the group in the Bushy Park Industrial Complex and Site Operations Councils.
- Jurisdictional responsibility for all personnel within BU RCH manufacturing at Lanxess Corp. Ensure compliance of operation and personnel with safety, health and environmental standards and regulations. Responsible for maintaining safe and ethical work practices
- Responsible for transfer and implementation of new manufacturing technology, resolution of product or process technical issues, improvements, and interactions with technical departments in Europe to integrate US manufacturing strategy with global manufacturing, marketing and technology strategies.
- Serves as the site Asset Manager relative to planning and execution of capital investment, maintenance, expansion, environmental and utility needs for sustainability and future growth at the plant. In this capacity, the incumbent makes decisions regarding capital investments and support for safe, effective facilities.
- Meet production schedules at optimum costs and to meet all customer needs on quality. Facilitates team building by use of the CIP, training, support and the use of available resources. Leads the self-directed work team process.
- Leads all production-related activities for the BU RCH at Bushy Park, working together with regional product management
Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering or Chemistry required
- >10 Years Industrial Operations Experience
- Experience in various responsible positions including supervision in manufacturing is required (some knowledge of budget controls/cost analysis).
- >5 Years Leadership / Management Experience
- Must be able to lead and manage change
- Must be able to successfully interact with a variety of organizational levels and external parties
