Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic and well-established team in Cookstown. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work exclusively with farm animals in a highly supportive environment, ideal for both experienced vets and those seeking to further their large animal career.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine and emergency farm visits for herd and flock health management
- Providing fertility assessments, ultrasound scanning, and reproductive services
- Performing diagnostic procedures, surgical interventions, and preventative herd care
- Offering expert advice on herd nutrition, production efficiency, and welfare standards
- Building strong relationships with farm clients through communication and service excellence
Package:
- Full-time role with 1 in 4 OOH rota and time off in lieu
- Total remuneration package £47,000–£75,000 depending on experience
