What we expect from you.As our Design Team Lead for Marketing, you’ll work as part of a cross-functional team and partner with regional VPs and Marketing Managers across 25 regions to strengthen Insider’s brand and voice, driving our sales and growth. You’ll be managing and coaching a team of talented designers and motion graphics artists to scale our design function globally with well-thought out templates and smooth processes. Overseeing all design requirements for content marketing, product marketing, performance marketing, branding, website conversion rate optimization and beyond you’ll be responsible for design excellence and all artwork created.
Key Responsibilites:
- Leading, coaching and inspiring a group of Marketing designers; managing their KPIs, performance and career development
- Ensuring design needs across 30 countries from US to Australia, from UK to Singapore are met on time and on budget
- Managing a large group of freelance designers and agencies
- Establishing efficient design processes that will help us scale our efforts globally
- Conceptualizing, designing and executing Marketing initiatives, continuously raising the bar for yourself and the team
- Leading/working on projects covering all design requirements for content marketing, product marketing, performance marketing, branding, website conversion rate optimization, landing pages, email, social media and more
- Manage and deliver a diverse range of overlapping design projects including graphic design, video, motion and illustration
- Defining “what’s next” to ensure latest design trends and best practices are reflected in our designs
Skills & Requirements:
- Graphic Designer in a B2B SaaS environment
- 8+ years of experience as a designer
- 8+ years of experience in leading design teams
- Keen to follow latest design trends in visual, digital, and graphic design with an excellent eye for typography and layout
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent, Sketch and Figma
- Obsessed with details and has a strong eye for alignment and details
- Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritise overlapping tasks/projects
- Flexible and adaptable to changing task priorities and workload in a fast-paced startup environment
- Assertive, proactive, empathetic and forward-looking
- Super energetic positive attitude, strong sense of humor and a hearty appetite for growth
- Creative horsepower.
