What You’ll Do
In this role, you will own the responsibility of ensuring all materials, ingredients, and suppliers meet Trouw Nutrition’s rigorous quality standards. As a key member of the Quality Team, you’ll actively support quality programs across both the Livestock Feed and Companion Animal divisions, working onsite at the St. Marys facility. By taking accountability for every detail—from assessments to compliance—you’ll demonstrate our corporate values of Trust, Inclusivity, Curiosity, Integrity, and Passion in everything you do. Your commitment to precision and proactive problem-solving will help safeguard product excellence and strengthen customer confidence. Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who owns every detail of quality control with precision, accountability, and a proactive mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance. With strong analytical skills and attention to detail, you’ll confidently review supplier documentation, manage testing programs, and communicate quality concerns promptly.
You’ll Also Need
- Post-secondary education in Agricultural Studies, Quality Assurance, Laboratory Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in quality control, laboratory, or feed/food manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ingredient analysis methods, specification review, or regulatory documentation (e.g., COAs, SOPs, supplier quality documents)
- Experience with LIMS, NIR technology, or other laboratory data systems (preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative and team-focused
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement
