There is an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join and support our Product Team as we continue to deliver exceptional products.
About the Role:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of inbound products and items from international and local suppliers. As the primary support to the product team, you will be focused on optimising lead times and costs. At the centre of your team's focus is to deliver for our customer, exceeding the standard and providing great outcomes. You will be a problem solver and of high integrity, managing trusted relationships between our suppliers and logistics partners. With a commercial mindset, you will be ensuring that the operation of our logistics functions remain effective and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customs agents, and freight providers
- The strategic planning and management of shipments, deliveries, and express freights.
- Coordinates and calculates invoicing, costs, and quantities of shipping, navigating multiple currencies and fees.
- Performance managing lead times, costs, accuracy, and quality from suppliers ensuring standards are maintained.
- Support the continuous improvement of processes and support the wider team in ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Experience and Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Office 365 programs, strong in data entry.
- Technical understanding of Logistics and imports (international and national)
- Previous experience in a logistics or a critical path role
- Strong achievement drive and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to work autonomously, but also well as part of a diverse team
