Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a well-equipped first opinion practice with a strong focus on surgery and dentistry. This role suits a vet who enjoys taking responsibility for day-to-day case management, while still having guidance from an experienced senior colleague and nursing team.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing consultations and routine surgeries in a busy GP environment
- Using imaging and dental facilities to support case workups
- Liaising with a senior colleague on more complex or referral cases
- Supporting trainee nurses and contributing to a positive team culture
- Ensuring smooth daily flow through good communication and planning
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registration or eligibility
- Experience in small animal general practice and routine surgery
- Comfortable working part of the week with independent responsibility
- Good communication and client care skills
- Interest in surgery, dentistry or further clinical development
