Paraway Pastoral Company is seeking a Station Hand to join our team at Old Bundemar Station, near Warren in Central West NSW.
Covering 22,370 hectares, Old Bundemar is a diverse property with access to the Macquarie River for irrigation and has a strong cropping history complementing the merino ewe flock and trade cattle operation. With reliable infrastructure, quality soils and a team focused on efficiency, Old Bundemar is a great place to develop practical skills and be part of a mixed enterprise that makes a real contribution to Paraway’s supply chain.
About the role
This role is integral to the day-to-day management of the property, working closely with the Overseer and supporting the Station Manager to ensure the continued success of the wider property performance.
Key responsibilities-
Carry out livestock handling, mustering and husbandry safely and efficiently

Operate and maintain plant, machinery and vehicles to a high standard

Updating and recording records in Agri-webb and use of EID equipment such as Tru Test

Assist with water, fencing and yard maintenance programs

Support daily work planning and help lead smaller crews when required

Model safe working practices and uphold animal welfare standards

Help train and mentor less experienced team members
What you’ll bring-
Prior farm experience and strong livestock handling skills

Your own team of working dogs (compulsory)

A practical approach, strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Ability to work well in a small team and communicate clearly

Pride in keeping equipment and facilities in order

Current driver’s licence
