Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression, supporting smooth clinic operations, and ensuring excellent client service from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide a professional, compassionate experience.
Answer incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
Check in and check out clients, collect payments, and process invoices.
Maintain accurate client and patient records in our practice management software.
Communicate clearly with clients about hospital policies, procedures, and next steps.
Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.
Handle incoming mail, emails, and other communication tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting area.
Assist in managing emergency or urgent cases by directing clients appropriately.

Qualifications

Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred (veterinary or medical setting a plus).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort with computers, scheduling systems, and basic office equipment.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork.
Compassion for animals and understanding of the human-animal bond.

Work Environment
This role requires sitting for extended periods, interacting with clients and animals, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
