Veterinary Nurse – Part Time

Blueridge Animal Hospital is a proudly independent, community-focused veterinary clinic located in Berowra. We are passionate about providing best-standard veterinary care while ensuring pets and their owners feel supported, respected, and genuinely cared for.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit and supportive team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on nursing role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians and nurses in a well-equipped clinic that values professionalism, kindness, and continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Patient care, monitoring, and handling with a fear-free approach
Surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, and recovery care
Nurse consultations and client education
Assisting with diagnostic procedures (pathology, imaging, etc.)
Maintaining hospital hygiene, stock control, and equipment care
Accurate clinical notes and communication with the team

About You

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Strong animal handling and patient care skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
A genuine passion for animal welfare and client care
