Carne, a division of Gibby Group, partners with food and dairy processors across the U.S. to manage and repurpose byproducts and wastewater in a sustainable, value-driven way. We take materials like liquid whey, permeate, and other food manufacturing residuals and redirect them to livestock farms as feed or to land application and digestion sites for fertilizer, gas, and power generation. By connecting processors, haulers, and farmers, we create a full-circle system that reduces waste, supports agriculture, and strengthens the sustainability of the food supply chain.

Carne is seeking a Regional Manager with a strong background in dairy agriculture to work directly with farms, food processors, and dairy nutritionists. This is a remote position with 60-80% daytime travel throughout the I29 Corridor territory in eastern South Dakota and northwestern Iowa. Overnight travel is limited to 10-15%. This role is hands-on in the dairy ag industry, building relationships and driving growth across the region. Knowledge of dairy sales and animal nutrition is a plus. This Position reports to the President of Carne.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the movement of by-products from dairy plants to end users (dairy, feedlot, etc.)
Help in setting up end users with the needed equipment to accept by-products
Grow sales with livestock farms and food manufacturing plants
Negotiate and manage new projects and agreements
Oversee volumes, pricing, and regional P&L performance
Build long-term relationships with farmers, nutritionists, and vendors
Ensure customer commitments and contracts are met
Partner with the Logistics Team to manage seasonal and product shifts
Help in organizing dispatch plans

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Strong dairy industry background (required)
Dairy nutrition knowledge (preferred)
Proven skills in sales, negotiation, and relationship management
Professional image and demeanor
Computer-literate and able to learn new software
Ability to work unsupervised and command results

Working Conditions:

Full-time employment with flexible working hours, as required
On-call availability is necessary during weekends and evenings, as necessary
Work on-site with customers, under various weather conditions
