The Cat Clinic and Hospital in Pittsburgh has a position open for a FULL-TIME VETERINARY TECHNICIAN. Preference will be given to those with 3 or more experience at a veterinary hospital or clinic. License is a plus. Duties:

- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details- Assist veterinarians with various procedures, such as administering medications, and taking X-rays, collect and analyze laboratory samples, such as blood and urine - Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments - Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment - Feline restraint - Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a veterinary technician
- Proficient in feline physiology
- Skilled in stress free feline restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the animal and the veterinary team
- Knowledgeable in X-ray techniques
- Familiar with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures
- Experience working with FELINE patients is a plus
-License is a plus

- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail- Ability to multitask and prioritize task- Proficiency in computer systems and software used in veterinary clinics- Knowledge of feline medicine and diagnostics.
