Join our dynamic Fear Free Certified feline veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant and Client Service Representative (CSR), where your enthusiasm and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of cats and their owners. Responsibilities

Assist veterinary staff with feline restraint, medication administration, and basic medical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort for our feline patients.
Provide exemplary pet care and animal handling, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health status during visits.
Support veterinary technicians with laboratory work, sample collection, and maintaining aseptic techniques to uphold clinic standards.
Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennels, treatment areas, and equipment following veterinary critical care protocols.
Communicate effectively with pet owners about pet care instructions, medication routines, and follow-up appointments to ensure comprehensive client service.

Experience

Previous kennel experience and veterinary assistant experience is highly preferred.
Hands-on veterinary clinic experience or as a veterinary assistant is highly preferred.
Familiarity with veterinary terminology, laboratory procedures, and aseptic techniques is beneficial.
Experience in animal restraint, Fear Free cat handling, and pet care enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
Fear Free and Cat Friendly Certifications are required once employed, highly desirable if you are already certified!
Strong Fear Free animal handling skills combined with excellent customer service abilities are essential for success in this energetic role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
