City Cat Veterinary Clinic, a feline-exclusive veterinary practice, is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant with a strong attention to detail to join our dedicated team. 6 to 12 months of experience is preferred. Our unique clinic housed in a converted residential space provides a warm, low-stress environment for our feline patients.

Core Responsibilities are included but not limited to:

* Assist veterinarian and LVT with medical procedures and provide skilled handling of cats of all demeanors, including fractious cats

* Conduct laboratory tests and maintain accurate documentation of results

* Manage medical records and handle prescription processing with precision

* Educate clients on medication administration, dental care, nutrition, and environmental enrichment

* Ensure facility cleanliness and maintain proper inventory levels

* Coordinate administrative duties including client communications and documentation

* Perform clinical procedures including blood draws, subcutaneous fluid administration, and injections based on skill level

Schedule & Requirements:

* Core Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM, Thursdays as needed

* Coordinated part-time shifts with other Veterinary Assistants within above hours

* Position requires occasional heavy lifting
