What You’ll Do

Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service in our Animal Health Store
Support feed and sales teams with product information, customer follow-up, and service
Manage purchasing, receiving, inventory counts, pricing, and store presentation
Build strong relationships with suppliers and coordinate promotions or booking programs
Support marketing activities:
Social media posts (photos, captions, product highlights)
Product spotlights and store promotions
External communications and customer updates
Assist with events, workshops, sponsorships, and customer experience initiatives
Gather in-store content (photos, stories, updates) for marketing and brand-building
Complete daily cash balancing and support general store administration
Ensure the store meets all regulatory and licensing requirements
Maintain SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement

What You Bring

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in:
Retail or customer service
Marketing, social media, or customer-facing communications
Inventory, purchasing, or related store operations
Agricultural background or knowledge of animal health products is an asset

Skills & Competencies

Strong written and verbal English communication
Good interpersonal skills, customer focus, and team-oriented approach
Organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive
Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate a forklift (training provided)
Intermediate computer skills; Great Plains experience an asset
Ability to capture and prepare content (photos, short writeups, product highlights) for marketing

Education & Certifications

Customer service, retail selling, agriculture, or related coursework
Must hold or obtain within 3 months of hire:
Pesticide Dispenser Certificate (materials provided)
Veterinary Drug Dispenser Certificate (materials provided)
Forklift Certificate (training provided)
