Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to join our veterinary team. This vital role involves providing excellent customer service, managing appointments, and supporting the daily operations of our clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for animal care, and experience in a reception or administrative setting. Laboratory experience is a plus, as it enhances the ability to assist with client inquiries and support clinical processes. Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and departure
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
Manage patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality
Process payments and handle billing transactions
Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed
Assist with laboratory procedures when necessary, utilizing laboratory experience to ensure proper sample handling and documentation
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to promote a welcoming environment

Experience

Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is required
Laboratory experience is highly desirable to support sample processing and documentation tasks
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate attitude towards animals and pet owners
Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
