Elsinger Farms is hiring a Farm Equipment Operator – Mechanic to join our team in Lomira, WI (about 50 miles northwest of Milwaukee). In this role you will be supporting daily farm operations by maintaining farm machinery, repairing agriculture equipment, and supporting crop and livestock operations.

We are a diversified Farm and Agriculture operation located in southeastern Wisconsin. We operate a cash cropping and dairy farm and also provide custom agriculture services. Our operation includes producing haylage and corn silage in partnership with another farm. Our culture is family oriented. What you will be doing:

Perform maintenance and basic repairs on farm machinery and agriculture equipment
Assist with building repairs and general farm maintenance
Support seasonal field work including planting and harvest operations
Feed cattle using a TMR mixer
Operate various types of farm equipment safely and efficiently
Complete daily operational tasks essential to a working dairy and crop farm

This job is for you if you have:

Previous maintenance experience required
Farming or agriculture background is preferred
Experience working with farm machinery and agriculture equipment strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license required
CDL is a plus but not required
Experience driving semi-trucks is beneficial
Must speak and understand English
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
Respectful of Farm ownership and leadership decisions
