Summary

We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Goodison Veterinary Center in the United States. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission by assisting veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to our animal patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit.
Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Administer medications as directed by the veterinarian.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
Handle and restrain animals safely during treatments.
Assist with laboratory tests and procedures as required.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or similar role is preferred
Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal handling techniques.
Ability to administer medications accurately.
Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners.
Experience in animal husbandry is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus.
Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
