Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for pets and their families while supporting our veterinary staff in providing excellent care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal care and veterinary terminology, ensuring that both pets and their owners feel welcomed and supported during their visits.

Duties

Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Handle medical collections and process payments accurately.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
Provide information to clients regarding pet care, treatments, and services offered by the clinic.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the reception area and clinic.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations throughout the clinic.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a veterinary setting is an asset but not required
Experience in animal husbandry, dog handling, or kennel management is beneficial.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Comfort with computers and scheduling software
