Kamloops Large Animal Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start.

The ideal candidate is:

Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Organized, confident, and capable of multitasking
Comfortable with technology and has strong computer skills
Willing to take on extensive cleaning duties
Experienced or interested in working directly with livestock (primarily horses and cattle, with occasional small ruminants)

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is an asset
Experience working with large animals is an asset
Valid BC driver’s license required

Compensation:

Wages are commensurate with experience

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
