About Mill Lake Veterinary Clinic:

Mill Lake Veterinary Clinic is a newly established, privately owned companion animal practice opening in Abbotsford in May 2026. Founded by two veterinarians, our clinic is focused on providing high-quality, compassionate medical care while building long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

We are a modern, medicine-focused practice emphasizing patient advocacy, clear communication, fear-conscious handling, and collaborative case management. As an independently owned clinic, operational decisions are made in-house with a focus on supporting our clinical team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking Veterinary Assistants (VAs) and Client Service Representatives (CSRs) to join our growing team. VAs and CSRs play an important role in supporting the medical team, maintaining hospital flow, and ensuring a positive experience for patients and clients.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

VA and CSR Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians and RVTs during appointments and procedures
Support patient restraint using low-stress handling techniques
Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
Clean, sterilize, and maintain equipment
Assist with laboratory sample preparation
Maintain accurate medical records as directed
Support daily hospital cleanliness and organization
Greet clients and patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Schedule appointments and manage clinic calendars
Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Communicate clearly with the medical team regarding appointments and client needs
Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Compensation & Benefits:

$20.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience
