Kickapoo Farms is hiring a year-round Farm Equipment Operator – Hunting Assistant in Thomasville, GA. In this role you will be operating tractors and other farm equipment, caring for animals, and assisting with quail hunts and other farm and plantation activities.

Kickapoo Farms is seeking an experienced Tractor Operator to join our team and assist with year-round farm and land management operations, as well as seasonal quail hunts. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and caring for animals in a plantation setting.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $35,000 - $50,000 based on experience plus on-site housing is provided and an opportunity to work in a respected, family-oriented plantation environment

Responsibilities:

Operate tractors and equipment for land management and maintenance
Prepare and plant dove and deer food plots
Perform woods blocking, mowing, disking, and burning assistance
Feed and care for dogs and horses, including daily upkeep
Assist with quail hunts and other plantation activities
Maintain farm equipment and general property upkeep

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating tractors and related farm equipment
Comfortable working around and handling dogs and horses
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work outdoors in all conditions
Prior experience on a hunting plantation or farm preferred
Valid driver’s license required
