Overview
At VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley (VCA VSV), we offer emergency, critical, and urgent care for dogs and cats, as well as internal medicine, oncology and surgery services. We work closely with local veterinarians to provide comprehensive, specialty-level veterinary care for pets. Our Veterinarians and board-certified specialists are dedicated to providing you and your pet with the same level of skilled, compassionate care they insist on for their pets.

Skills and Responsibilities

The successful Veterinary Technician will possess the following skills:

Proficient in physical examination and patient assessment
Laboratory work
Radiology
Catheter Placement
Chemotherapy administration
Pharmacy
Patient Recovery
Monitor animal health and behavior, providing necessary care and support.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Handle animals safely and effectively, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.

Qualifications

Must have documented previous experience
Current RVT license, VTNE eligible, or transferable credentials
Flexibility to cover potential evenings, weekends and holidays
Customer service skills
Working knowledge of computers
Excellent communication skills
Team player will to learn new techniques and treatments

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
