Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Part-Time Veterinarian to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries, shelter animal care, and community vaccine clinics that make a direct impact on animals and families in need.

Schedule

Thursdays – Provide medical care and exams for shelter animals
Fridays – Perform spay/neuter surgeries
Saturdays – Lead community vaccine clinics

Responsibilities

Perform spay/neuter and basic surgical procedures efficiently and safely
Conduct wellness and preventive care appointments during vaccine clinics
Provide medical exams and treatment plans for shelter animals
Collaborate with our veterinary team, technicians, and shelter staff
Ensure all medical records are accurate, thorough, and compliant with standards of care

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited program
Active Wisconsin veterinary license (or ability to obtain before start)
Surgical experience preferred (training provided for high-volume spay/neuter techniques if needed)
Strong communication skills and commitment to compassionate, community-focused care

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
