About the role:
Are you passionate about quality control and looking to kick-start your career in the feed industry? Nutreco is looking for a dedicated Junior QC Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. You’ll play a key role in ensuring raw material compliance with EU feed law by performing incoming control checks and managing sample storage. This is a unique opportunity for a self-driven individual looking to grow into a QA/QC role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming quality checks on raw materials at the warehouse.
- Analyse and manage the storage of raw material samples in accordance with EU feed law.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and reporting of all samples received.
- Handle administrative duties related to sample registration and compliance tracking.
- Identify and propose constructive improvements in processes and documentation.
- Maintain close communication with QA/QC lead and participate in monthly check-ins.
- Collaborate with the distribution centre and OPCOs to ensure compliance and proper sample flow.
Skills and Requirements:
- MBO Level 3 or HBO degree in a chemistry-related field.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (other languages are a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Team-oriented mindset, even when working independently
- High attention to detail and documentation.
- Basic understanding of physical analysis techniques.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
- Based in the Brabant region should have a valid driver’s license and access to a car for travel to warehouse and training locations.
