Overview: The Strategic KAM Livestock plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of both global and local projects within the Animal Health sector. The KAM will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, fostering relationships, and protecting the company’s market position while embracing innovation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a key facilitator between various divisions within the Business Unit Livestock, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of corporate projects.
- Oversee the execution of project plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely follow-up on outcomes to meet objectives and timelines.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels to ensure that project goals are communicated clearly and that expectations are aligned.
- Work closely with the Regional Policy Team to identify and explore opportunities that will enhance market performance and outpace competitors.
- Foster innovation in livestock breeding by scouting for new technologies, practices, and methods that can be integrated into current operations and offerings.
- Implement strategies to defend and reinforce the company’s position as a market leader in livestock health.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop proactive measures that safeguard profit margins and promote sustainable growth.
- Lead revolutionary changes within the Trade Services (TS) business through the introduction of subscription models and innovative business approaches.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement these new business models, ensuring that they align with core company values and customer needs.
- Accelerate the digital transformation journey by implementing the Regional end-to-end processes for key initiatives, including major strategic bets and new product launches.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to enhance customer engagement, streamline processes, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Champion the One Health concept by coordinating with various Business Units to act as an ambassador to traditional and non-traditional stakeholders.
- Engage with organizations, industry associations, governmental institutions, trade unions, and associations of producers and veterinarians to promote collaborative efforts that support animal health, public health, and environmental sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven experience in market access, account management, project management, or a related role within the animal health or livestock industry.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, policy impacts, and trends in livestock health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in italian and english, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience with digital tools and platforms, with a focus on leveraging technology for business growth and efficiency.
- A passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
