Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and a passion for animal care. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing preventative care. The Veterinarian will work closely with pet owners to educate them on proper care and treatment options for their beloved animals.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Develop treatment plans and administer medications, vaccinations, and other therapies as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care while ensuring the safety of the animal.
- Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with staff and pet owners regarding diagnoses and treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each animal treated, including histories, treatments, and outcomes.
- Provide guidance on animal husbandry, nutrition, and general care practices to pet owners.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education and training.
Skills
- Veterinary critical care experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the animals and staff during examinations or procedures.
- Strong background in veterinary experience with a focus on animal handling skills.
- Knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy is essential for effective diagnosis and treatment.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology to facilitate clear communication within the team and with clients.
- Experience in pet grooming practices as part of overall animal care strategies.
- Competence in aseptic techniques to prevent infection during surgical procedures.
- Laboratory experience for conducting tests such as blood work or urinalysis is beneficial.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
