Job Description

At Inghams, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Farm Hands in the Breeder Production department. This casual position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our farm and hatchery operations. As a Farm Hand at Inghams, your responsibilities will include: - Assisting with the daily care and management of poultry - Monitoring and maintaining the health and welfare of the birds - Participating in breeding activities and ensuring proper handling of eggs - Supporting the implementation of biosecurity measures to safeguard bird health - Engaging in general farm maintenance tasks such as cleaning and basic repairs - Following standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in animal husbandry. Previous experience in a similar farm environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
