Practice Overview
South Bosque Veterinary Clinic is a seven-doctor practice who fosters a team-oriented, encouraging work environment. Communication and team work are strong focus points for our practice. Our staff has found success by not only helping one another professionally but supporting each other in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our hospital is fully equipped with digital radiology, full in-house lab equipment, ultrasound, a two-table surgical suite, and a two-table dental suite with dental radiology.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Engaging and communicating with clients in a professional, friendly demeanor
- Educate clients on proper preventative care and available services for their pets
- Assist the Veterinary Technicians with patient treatments, procedures and activities, under direction of the Veterinarian
- Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, serums or treatments under guide of doctor
- Assist Veterinary Technicians with in caring of all hospitalized pets
- Assist Veterinary Technicians with taking digital radiographs & bloodwork
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 40 pounds required
- At least one year of Veterinary experience preferred but not required
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
- Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
