missions :
Location: Bridgewater, NJ
Ceva is seeking a talented, energetic, experienced Marketer to develop strategy and drive marketing plans for the Cat Calming & Wellbeing retail portfolio, with a primary focus on Feliway brand. You'll be a key member of the Brand Marketing team, focused on driving growth for our leading brand, Feliway. We're looking for a talented and energetic marketer to develop and execute marketing strategies and plans for this high-growth portfolio.
This is a dynamic, end-to-end role where you'll own strategic and tactical marketing initiatives across multiple channels, including e-commerce, brick-and-mortar retail, and veterinary clinics. You'll be responsible for the brand's innovation, communication, and activation, and will also maintain product forecasts.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial team player with a passion for improving the lives of pets. You'll need to be a big-picture thinker who can also execute with a detail-oriented focus. This position requires a strong sense of ownership and the ability to guide cross-functional projects by collaborating with various teams, including e-commerce, new product development, sales, and digital marketing.
Responsibilities and Key Duties: |
Strategic Planning & Brand Management
- Define and own the brand's positioning and messaging, ensuring a compelling omnichannel approach that is clearly differentiated from competitors.
- Act as the brand expert for cat calming products, maintaining a deep understanding of pricing, positioning, the competitive landscape, and market needs.
- Develop and implement brand marketing plans for the Cat Calming & Wellbeing portfolio, with a specific focus on Feliway, based on strategic analysis and market insights for both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Influence the innovation pipeline and portfolio optimization with a focus on profitable growth and meeting end-user needs.
- Analyze market research and business results to understand key successes and challenges. Formulate appropriate actions to respond to identified opportunities and competitive threats.
- Understand end-user needs and identify future market trends, translating them into business growth opportunities.
Marketing Execution & Customer Engagement
- Build a best-in-class consumer journey by optimizing all key end-user touchpoints (paid media, organic social media, website, in-store) and marketing activities. Drive brand awareness, trial, loyalty, and advocacy through novel pet owner engagement strategies.
- Lead professional marketing initiatives and campaigns that effectively communicate product value propositions, educate internal and external customers, and build brand awareness while adhering to all regulatory standards.
- Build relevant customer and market relationships, and attend and support customer events, trade shows, and other industry events.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, including agencies, market research firms, and promotion companies.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Drive a consumer-first mentality to develop relevant messaging and assets in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Cultivate strong relationships with the Ceva Sales and Strategic Accounts teams, communicate the value proposition of products and develop sales tools to support the selling process.
- Collaborate closely with the global brand team, acting as an advocate and expert for the U.S. marketplace and pet parents. Work with the Global Franchise team to develop launch plans, line extensions, product positioning, and local execution strategies.
- Build strong connections across the entire Ceva Companion Animal organization, both within North America and with global headquarters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with influential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support growth and position Ceva as a market leader.
Financial & Operational Management
- Conduct ROI evaluations and financial analysis of marketing activities, recommending improvements and adjustments for future brand initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a shared omnichannel calendar of key brand moments (product launches, deal periods, in-store marketing activity, major activations, etc.).
- Maintain accurate production and expense forecasts for individual product SKUs using provided tools and submitting regular updates on a scheduled timeline.
- Execute all marketing plans flawlessly and with strict adherence to budget and expense guidelines.

Technical / Functional Competencies: |
·Brand Strategy and Planning: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and define the brand's positioning, messaging, and overall strategy.
·Vision and Approach Development – capability to understand, implement brand strategy and make local adaptations based on the local needs
·Product & Innovation Management: The capability to influence the innovation pipeline, optimize the product portfolio, and manage product lifecycles to drive profitable growth.
·Brand Advocacy: The ability to serve as the brand's expert and advocate, communicating its value proposition and strategic direction to both internal and external stakeholders.
·A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
·A minimum of 7 years of brand marketing experience, with a strong background in developing and executing marketing strategies and plans.
·Proven experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns.
·Demonstrated experience in creative strategy development, writing project briefs, managing advertising campaigns, and launching new products.
·Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage a business effectively within a matrixed organizational environment.
