Are you a people person? Do you have an energetic personally? We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team starting a fish farm in Homestead, Florida. As a team member you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our farm operations including customer service. This is a hands-on role that requires your willingness to gather knowledge of animal care, data collection, and mechanical skills.
Responsibilities
- Feed and monitor fish in tanks or ponds
- Perform regular inspections of fish health and water quality
- Assist with breeding and spawning activities
- Collect and record data on fish growth, feeding habits, and environmental conditions
- Clean tanks, filters, and equipment to maintain optimal conditions for fish
- Assist with the harvesting and processing of fish
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment used in fish farming operations
- Perform basic plumbing tasks for water circulation systems
Qualifications
- Ability to interact with customers.
- Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and operation
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations related to fish farming is helpful
