Position: Triage Assistant

This part time/casual position will work as a support person for our DVMs and Technicians in a unique Triage Assistant role.
Opportunities in this role may include:
- Performing triage, including history taking, vitals and liaising with client
- Medical record entries, preparing estimates and invoices
- Helping to restrain and perform certain patient care and husbandry tasks
- Helping with various procedures and diagnostics
- Surgical room preparation and equipment/instrument care
- Communicating and networking with our team of ER Doctors and support staff, as well as our extensive referring community
You will develop skills in client communication while increasing your knowledge of a wide variety of cases unique to an Emergency and Specialty Hospital.
This is a part time/casual position is mainly for weekends and holidays, with the possibility of more throughout the summer and other times of the year! The number of shifts per month will depend on hospital need and candidate availability - let's talk!
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 12 per week
