STINE INDEPENDENT SALES REPRESENTATIVE\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Description:\r\n\r\nStine Seed Company, a privately-held, growing national seed company, currently has an opening for an Independent Sales Representative covering Sangamon, Christian, and Menard Counties in Central Illinois. This represents an excellent opportunity to grow both professionally and financially with one of the industry's most respected corn and soybean seed companies.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat We Offer:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tWell-established territory with dedicated accounts\r\n\tA 40-plus year reputation for quality seed products\r\n\tUnlimited earning potential\r\n\tFlexibility to work your territory your way\r\n\tAgronomic and sales support\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nResponsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tServe as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.\r\n\tDevelop and maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the assigned territory.\r\n\tManage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.\r\n\tCommunicate and implement Stine’s sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals for the district.\r\n\tWork in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory.\r\n\tDevelop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCompetencies/Qualifications/Experience:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCandidates should have three or more years of ag experience, including previous experience in agronomy, crop production or seed sales.\r\n\tCandidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.\r\n\tCandidates should have demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques, as well as excellent negotiating skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.\r\n\tCandidates should have demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.\r\n\tCandidates should demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals.\r\n\tPreference will be given to candidates that have proven ability to build/maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values, and achieve desired results.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nInterested in joining our Team?
