Experienced Veterinarian of at least 3 years needed to work Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri with every other Friday and Saturday off. This averages to 33 hours a week. We staff 3 technicians and a receptionist per veterinarian to spread the load evenly and prevent burn out. Owner veterinarian with 20 years of experience will be working on site as well. Enjoy the use of in house thyroid and cortisol testing, Nuq cancer screening, GE ultrasound, instant digital xrays, CO2 surgical laser, electrical cautery, and a therapeutic laser.
The client base is a good mix of economic capability and we serve a well funded rescue group to allow for good quality medicine to be practiced on unique rescue cases. The owner niches in cytology, heartworm treatments, and extracapsular ACL repair.s We are an appointment only clinic with emergency only walk ins.
A signing bonus of $5,000 will be provided after 3 months. Salary is $185,000 a year with a $2500 bonus every quarter based on attendance. One sick day is given every quarter before reduction of bonus. You will have a private office space to work with as well as a redecorating budget. A $2500 per diem for continuing education is included every year along with BCBS Health insurance. 12 days of paid personal time is provided every year. License and insurance fees will be covered. A matching 401k is offered after one year. And an opportunity for partnership will be offered after 3 years.
