Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking to hire a full-time, remote-based
Agricultural Recruiter to join our team.You will work closely with our clients to provide recruitment for full-time professional and executive roles, splitting your time between actively sourcing passive candidates, conducting interviews, and leading client meetings. After our sales team has contracted with a company, the recruiter partners with the client to determine objectives, understand hiring needs, and execute the best recruitment strategies. Our team enjoys working with our clients on exclusive contracts utilizing their company name during our search process and being their go-to strategic advisor.
As our clients look for our industry expertise, we only consider candidates who bring a strong variety of experiences within the agriculture and/or horticulture industries. We have a thorough and structured internal training program to teach you the best strategies for recruitment, no prior recruitment necessary.

Our ideal hire brings - 6+ years in the agriculture industry required (crop inputs, sales, agronomy, livestock, animal nutrition, genetics, seed, farming or any other sector of ag; a variety of sectors a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience managing customer expectations and adapting to a customer’s changing needs.
- Strong internal drive and commitment to working through challenges
- Prove ability to meet and surpass quotas and/or KPIs
What you would be doing - Work closely with the client to acquire an understanding of the job requirements, company, competencies, skills, and knowledge
- Strategically source candidates by reviewing hundreds of resumes weekly, utilizing a range of online tools, software systems, and available resources.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients; set and follow through with clear communication & expectations
- Conduct behavioral-based interviews and competency evaluations (40% of your time); conducted over phone (primarily) or Microsoft Teams video
- Continue to build our internal pipeline of candidates
- Serve as subject matter expert on job market and candidate behavioral trends
- Openly express your ideas and opinions while working on team projects; our best ideas come internally from the team
- Continuously expand your knowledge of the food and agriculture industry; following news and trends
- Adhere to recruiting SOPs and maintain an accurate applicant tracking system (ATS)
- This role is based from your home with no travel besides one annual meeting each year
