Five Rivers Pet Emergency Hospital is looking to add a weekend, overnight, and daytime veterinarian to our team! The schedule consists of three, thirteen hours shifts,. We are a growing, privately owned emergency hospital located 10 minutes east of Knoxville city center, serving East Tennessee, VA, NC, and KY.

We are constantly improving our facility to keep up with ever-changing medicine. A desire to learn new treatments and a willingness to try techniques to enhance your skills is also encouraged.
We see a wide array of cases, from common illnesses to time-sensitive traumas. We encourage our veterinarians to work within the client's means so no patient goes untreated.

**Duties:**
- Conduct thorough examinations on animals to diagnose health conditions
- Perform surgical procedures as needed
- Prescribe medication and treatment plans
- Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment options
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Provide emergency and critical care when necessary
**Qualifications:**
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- State licensure to practice veterinary medicine
- Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and laboratory procedures
- Experience in pet care, dog handling, and kennel management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a veterinary practice effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
