We are looking for an On-Call Remote Veterinary Receptionist to join our team and provide exceptional service to our veterinary partners.
Position Description:
As an On-Call Remote Veterinary Receptionist, you will serve as the main point of contact for veterinary clients, helping with scheduling, addressing inquiries, and ensuring every pet owner feels valued and supported. This is a remote role, allowing you to work from home. Additionally, for On-Call shifts, an additional disbursement fee will be added to your hourly wage.
Key Responsibilities:
Remote position with on-call hours across U.S. time zones
Hours and availability will be on an as-needed basis, depending on coverage requirements.
Assist multiple veterinary hospitals with calls, scheduling, and client inquiries
Maintain accurate records, process payments, and manage billing
Handle medical records with confidentiality
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements to fulfill this role are:
- A minimum of 3 years working in a veterinary practice.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is preferred.
- Availability to work shift between Saturday to Sunday 7:00 AM until 12:00 AM EST.
- Efficiently managing incoming calls, text messages, and emails for multiple hospitals, while placing callers on hold when necessary, is required.
- Internet Requirements: To be considered for this position, your speed test must show a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 9 Mbps upload.
