Job Description: Our client is seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their long-established and progressive practice in Donegal. This role has a strong emphasis on small animal medicine and surgery while still offering the chance to maintain variety through occasional large animal cases. You will be joining a friendly and professional team committed to providing excellent care and supporting each other’s development.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing consultations, preventive care, and surgery for companion animals
- Participating in a shared on-call rota that includes some large animal support
- Handling diagnostic workups with access to modern imaging and lab facilities
- Communicating clearly with clients to build trust and support treatment decisions
- Contributing to the practice’s collaborative and team-focused culture
Package:
- Salary up to €60,000 per year depending on experience
- Relocation assistance up to €5,000 available for eligible candidates
