The Account Manager will be a full-time brand ambassador for Stine Seed Company and represents an excellent opportunity to grow both professionally and financially with one of the industry's most respected corn and soybean companies.\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tWhat we offer:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tA 40-plus year reputation for quality seed products.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tList of potential customers with contact information.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tOnline resources for managing customer and prospect data.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tProfessional agronomy staff that will assist in product and agronomic training.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSeasoned leadership team to assist with territory development. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCompetitive pay, coupled with performance-based bonus opportunities. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tCompensation and Benefits:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tThe base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $90,000 based on experience and skills. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tBenefits include annual discretionary bonus, company vehicle, 401k, paid time off, cell phone stipend, and dental, vision, health and basic life insurance.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tKey Responsibilities: \r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPromote Stine Seed Company to help increase sales and brand awareness. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tDevelop and maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed and treatment products.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPerform at least twenty-five on-site grower visits per week.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tProspect year-round.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSubmit account seed orders and coordinate shipping of seed to customers. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tComplete annual field prescriptions with each customer in coordination with Stine agronomist(s).\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSecure warehousing with Stine signage on the exterior of the building and premises for Stine corn and soybean seed, signs and equipment for the territory, as approved by Stine. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tParticipate in sales and agronomy/product training classes provided by Stine. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tWork with the Stine shipping coordinator to ensure shipping of customer seed is completed on time and accurately. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPromote use of Stine XP soybean seed treatments and secure application either through Stine conditioners or independent treating facility. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tGoals:\r\n\t\r\n\t\tYEAR 1\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tDevelop a territory with more than 20,000 points of business. (one unit of corn sales = 3 points and one unit of soybean sales = 1 point)\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPerform twenty-five on-site grower visits each week.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tA given percentage of grower visits will need to be prospects based on the volume of current business the Account Manager has.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPerformance of six points of contact annually with each Stine account\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSecure and oversee at least one Stine corn and soybean show plot.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCollect a minimum of three corn and three soybean side-by-side crop data comparisons from existing customers.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tFUTURE\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tAchieve annual corn and soybean growth goals based on territories previous year s base units.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSell Stine XP treatment on at least 70% of soybean units sold. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tTools Provided: \r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCompany vehicle\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tLaptop\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCompany-issued purchasing card for business expenses\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPromotional budget\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSeed trailer \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tReimbursement for securing seed warehousing \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tList of Stine Conditioners\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tCompetencies/Qualifications/Experience:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tThree or more years of ag sales experience is preferred.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCandidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCandidates should have demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques, excellent negotiating skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCandidates should demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tPreference will be given to candidates who have proven ability to build/maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values and achieving desired results. \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tAny offer of employment to a potential Account Manager candidate will be subject to completing and passing a background check.\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tInterested in joining our Team?
