Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their independent, family-run practice based in South Yorkshire. This full-time permanent position is ideally suited to a vet with 1–5 years of UK small animal experience who is eager to broaden their medical and surgical skillset in a supportive and progressive environment.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out a diverse caseload of medical and surgical procedures
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to manage hospitalised cases
- Maintaining excellent standards of clinical care and client communication
- Participating in ongoing training and knowledge sharing with peers
- Providing mentorship and support within a cooperative veterinary team
Requirements for the role include:
- MRCVS qualification with eligibility to practice in the UK
- 1–5 years’ recent UK small animal experience
- Solid foundation in basic surgery and clinical medicine
- Positive, team-oriented approach with willingness to learn and develop
- Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
