We’re seeking passionate VET Support Officers to provide support for the successful operation of the VET for Schools program.
You will engage and support training for students to reach their potential, i f you thrive on engaging learners and making a difference, we want to hear from you!
You will:
- Support the successful operation of the VET for Schools program
- Ensure processes are followed in accordance with internal and external requirements including the registration of schools, trainers and student records in relevant systems e.g. aXcelerate
- Support the development of key documentation at the start of a VET program, such as Training and Assessment Strategy and Trainer Skills Matrices in accordance with all training and assessment processes and procedures
- Maintain a good operational knowledge of VET and relevant compliance requirements in relation to the VET for Schools programs
- Support the VET for Schools team during the co-ordination of meetings and provide general communication support to schools
- Attend and assist with professional supports forums and related events
- Attend industry network meetings and Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) events throughout the year
Provision of administration services to the VET for Schools team utilising the Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel and Outlook
What will you bring to the role?
- A Certificate III in Business Administration and/or extensive experience in a busy office environment
- Capacity to provide systematic and supportive services within the vocational training system
- Demonstrated "can do" attitude with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) TAE40122 or TAE40116 (Desirable)
- Previous experience in the desired field (ideally in a vocational or RTO setting)
- Current valid Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Registered Training Organisation compliance management systems, with strong administrative capacity to manage documentation systems (Desirable)
Knowledge and experience in the area of Vocational education and training
Please note Mandatory Pre-employment Screenings will be required, this will include;
- Australian National Police Check, including Right to work in Australia ( conducted by WISE Employment )
- NDIS Workers Screening Check ( fee payable by candidate )
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) ( fee payable by candidate )
