Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary care and management, ensuring that our team provides the highest level of care for our animal patients while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for animal welfare, and a thorough understanding of veterinary practices.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the veterinary practice, including staff supervision and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with all veterinary regulations and standards.
- Oversee medical collections and billing processes to maintain financial health.
- Coordinate patient care, including animal handling, restraint, and grooming as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper use of veterinary terminology.
- Implement training programs for staff on animal husbandry, critical care, and aseptic techniques.
- Foster a positive environment for both clients and staff, promoting excellent customer service.
- Assist in laboratory work and diagnostic procedures as necessary.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment to ensure availability.
- Provide support in areas such as dog training, pet care, and equine experience when required.
Experience
Candidates should have relevant experience in the veterinary field, including but not limited to:
- Veterinary experience with knowledge of animal anatomy and handling techniques.
- Experience in kennel management or animal care settings.
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in medical collection processes.
- Laboratory experience related to veterinary diagnostics.
- Knowledge of dog handling techniques and pet grooming practices.
- Experience with animal catheterization and restraint methods is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding care for animals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
