Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated Mixed Animal Associate Veterinarian with at least 3 years of experience to join their rapidly expanding practice in Oxford. As part of a team of seven veterinarians, you’ll share both companion animal and production animal caseloads, with a strong emphasis on quality, variety, and professional development. The clinic is well-resourced and designed to support both pet work and dairy / farm animal medicine.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Handling consultations, medical case work, and surgeries for companion animals
- Running herd health, reproductive work and farm animal field services for dairy, sheep, and beef clients
- Utilizing diagnostic imaging, blood analysis and dental tools to inform treatment and surgical decisions
- Collaborating with your multi-vet team and experienced nurse/rural technical staff to ensure high-standard case outcomes
- Participating in after-hours and emergency backup service as part of the clinic’s roster
