Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian with at least 2 years of experience to join their Motueka clinic. This is a predominantly small animal role with some mixed‐animal exposure, set in a purpose‐built, well-equipped clinic serving a loyal client base. Work includes shared after-hours and mixed case backup, offering both variety and support.
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree (DVM, BVSc or equivalent) with registration eligibility in New Zealand
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in small animal practice; mixed or production animal exposure a plus
- Good surgical, diagnostic, and medical case management skills
- Strong client communication and teamwork orientation
- Willingness to be rostered on for shared after-hours / on-call duties
