We are looking for a passionate Marketing & Strategic Partnerships Lead to drive awareness, engagement, and success for our Preferred Partner Programs. About the Role:
As the Marketing & Strategic Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote our Preferred Partner Programs to VMG members. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong relationship management skills to optimize program visibility, increase participation, and enhance partner engagement. You will work cross-functionally to integrate Preferred Partner initiatives within VMG’s overall marketing efforts, ensuring that our messaging, campaigns, and promotions align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that elevate awareness and participation in Preferred Partner Programs.
- Create compelling promotional campaigns, email marketing initiatives, social media content, and digital assets to support partner engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and optimize marketing materials, sales collateral, and promotional messaging for partner initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to refine strategies and improve engagement.
Partnership Marketing & Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with Preferred Partners to enhance collaboration on co-branded marketing efforts.
- Identify cross-promotional opportunities and develop joint marketing campaigns that amplify both VMG and partner brand visibility.
- Serve as the key liaison between the marketing team and Preferred Partners, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of marketing objectives.
- Develop and manage marketing activation plans for partners, including digital promotions, events, and content marketing initiatives.
Member Engagement & Program Growth:
- Work closely with VMG members to increase program participation through targeted outreach, education, and personalized engagement strategies.
- Develop content and marketing strategies that highlight the benefits of Preferred Partner Programs to VMG members.
- Leverage data insights and member feedback to refine marketing approaches and enhance member engagement.
- Manage member communications, including newsletters, digital campaigns, and event promotions to increase awareness and program adoption.
Event & Campaign Management:
- Support the planning and execution of partner-related events, meetings, and industry conferences (e.g., VMX).
- Drive engagement and participation in promotional programs by leveraging digital marketing tools and campaign strategies.
- Develop marketing assets for live and virtual events, including presentations, collateral, and digital promotions.
Education & Background Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, Animal Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the animal health industry required.
- Beneficial work experience includes roles such as Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager, or a position within an Animal Health Company.
- Experience in marketing, business development, or strategic partnerships is preferred.
- Strong understanding of veterinary practice operations, animal health trends, and industry partnerships is a plus.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive
$67,100.00-$95,800.00
