About The Role: Our Laboratory Technician carries out analytical tests to assess the quality, grade or other characteristics of incoming, produced or researched products and goods for the Selko line of products.
Available Shifts
Shift: C - Week 1: Thursday - Sunday 6am - 6pm, Week 2: Friday - Sunday 6am - 6pm, then repeats
Shift: D - Week 1: Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm, Week 2: Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm, then repeats
Responsibilities:
Performs quality control and in-process tests of incoming and produced goods
Monitors quality trends, and timely identifies and communicates quality defects, non-conformities and trends
Works closely with researchers to develop lab experimental design and test plans
Conducts lab experiments according to the test plan, collates and reports the test results
Records data, observations, and conclusions of samples and test results accurately and timely
Periodically checks and calibrates the analytical instruments
Proposes efficiency and quality improvements
Performs first line maintenance activities on the analytical tools and instruments
Qualifications:
Advanced specialized laboratory education
Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
