Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian with 2 years+ experience to join a busy small animal practice at Straven Road in Riccarton. This is a full- or part-time position in a well-established clinic offering general consulting, medical case management, routine surgery, dental procedures, and preventive care. You will be joining a team of experienced veterinarians and nurses, serving a loyal and growing client base.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Consulting with clients through wellness exams, diagnostics, and medical case follow-ups
- Performing routine surgeries and dental procedures with attention to safety and detail
- Developing treatment plans and educating pet owners about prevention, care and maintenance
- Working alongside experienced vets and support staff to sustain high service standards
- Maintaining accurate medical records, clinic protocols, and contributing to a positive caretaker environment
