Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a compassionate, collaborative team with several locations in Central Pennsylvania. This role offers wide exposure to wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and rehabilitation services—and great mentorship especially for newer doctors. The clinic is well-equipped with in-house labs, imaging (digital x-ray, ultrasound, CT), and advanced rehab facilities like underwater treadmill, laser therapy, and more.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing wellness exams, preventive care, vaccinations, and routine diagnostics for small animals
- Conducting surgical and dental procedures (under supervision or independently depending on experience)
- Interpreting lab, imaging, and CT results to formulate treatment plans
- Educating clients about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies in clear, empathetic ways
- Collaborating with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care across all locations
