Open position for a full-time veterinarian (part-time will be considered) at Northwest Animal Hospital, in lovely Oak Ridge, NC.

We are in our new state of the art Animal Hospital.in beautiful Oak Ridge, NC. We have CLT, ultrasound, CO2 Laser, a dental suite with dental x-ray, a spacious surgery suite, and 4 exam rooms with a 5th multipurpose room for acupuncture, euthanasia (separate exit for grieving families), or an overflow exam room. I would love to eventually be staffed overnight as well.

We are a close-knit group, who care about our patients, our clients and each other and strive to provide loving, compassionate and excellent care for each pet and owner that comes through our doors. We are a busy practice and work hard, but encourage positivity and support for each other, and understand the importance of family life and life/work balance for each of us.

Oak Ridge is a thriving, beautiful little town that is growing, yet still retains its small town charm! We are literally 2 miles from the Mountain to Sea Trail and have lovely hiking trails, parks, festivals, great schools, wonderful restaurants, shops, medical offices, dental offices and recreation right here in town (within a 5 mile radius of the clinic!). We are 45 minutes from the mountains and 3.5 hours from beautiful beaches. It is truly a wonderful place to raise a family or to retire - there is something for everyone! We are blessed that the vast majority of our clientele can afford to take excellent care of their pets, which allows us to provide them with the best full-service care.
